What’s an adhesion?

fascia healing May 12, 2022

If you’re living with chronic pain, you probably have many of them all over your body.

Curious now?

Adhesion = scar tissue = dehydrated fascia.

What does an adhesion feel like?  It feel's like a knot in the muscle.  Your brain thinks it's the muscle, but it's actually the fascia that surrounds the muscle tissue that has tightened up.

Stretching alone will not make the adhesion go away.  In fact your stretching will be more effective, if you release the fascia and adhesions first.

It will never go away on its own.

You have to make it go away.

How?

Excellent question for a future episode of Fun Fascia Facts!
