Drinking more water is not enough!

fascia healing melt method May 05, 2022

It's true.

Hard to believe right?

When the fascia becomes damaged or dehydrated you can see what happens on a cellular level through a super high powered microscope.

Your body has an amazing defense mechanism and will put a protective shell around your cells to prevent anymore water from coming out.

When that happens...no water can go back into the cell either.

That's where myofascial release comes in. You have to break apart the adhesion (dehydrated or damaged fascia) for that barrier to be broken apart so that your body can reabsorb water correctly.

Once you rehydrate your fascia it will become moist, supple, carry nutrients and hydration throughout your body like it's supposed to.  Kind of like a sponge.

Then your muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, bones, organs, blood vessels, and nerve cells will start functioning like they are supposed to alleviating pain.

"Fascia-inating" right!

Stay tuned for more fun fascia facts!
